Philippe Laprise

Philippe Laprise is a Quebec comedian, host, and actor born in 1976 in Jonquière. A graduate of the École nationale de l’humour in 2002, he quickly gained attention for his improvisational talent and stage presence. He found major success with his solo shows, including Je peux maintenant mourir, Plus sexy que jamais, Je m’en occupe, and Pourquoi pas, selling tens of thousands of tickets and earning multiple nominations at the ADISQ and Les Olivier awards.

On television, he stood out in the youth series VRAK la vie and co-hosted several comedy programs, earning a Gémeaux Award for his work as a host. In 2018, he founded the Philippe Laprise Foundation to support children and families affected by ADHD—a cause close to his heart, as he himself was diagnosed with the disorder. A committed and well-loved performer, he continues to leave his mark on Quebec’s cultural scene through his humor and authenticity.
