Michelle Petite, of Saint John, burst onto the stand-up comedy scene 8 years ago. Since then, she has played Yuk Yuks in Saint John, Halifax and for Toronto Yuk Yuks with their on tour shows. She has been featured at Punchlines Comedy Club, where she has headlined several times and has had the opportunity to open for many great comedians, like: Nikki Payne, Mike Wilmot, Dave Merheje, John Dore, Mike Delamonte, Mike Dambra, Kathleen McGee, Kate Davis, Darren Frost, Kenny Robinson, Peter Anthony, Cedric Newman, The Danger Cats, and many more.
She has headlined several sold-out shows at Comic Sutra Comedy Club and headlined a sold out gala for the New Brunswick Mental Health Association, where they added a second, matinee show, which also sold out. Plus headlining several charity shows in New Brunswick and PEI with Bad Words For A Good Cause.
She placed 3rd in the Hubcap rising star competition and has received other comedy awards. Also touring with Lisa Baker and Cedric Newman. Appearing in several shows with James Mullinger and Ali Hassan. Michelle has been touted by James Mullinger as one of his top five favourite NB comedians and was complimented by Ali Hassan as the comedian in NB to watch out for.
